View Full Version : how easy is it to remove and refit the headlining?

like the title says, i would like to replace my sunroof as its on its last legs, and i have another complete to fit.
i just want to know how hard it is to refit the head lining so it looks like its never been removed.

its fairly easy, but then again its fairly easy to tear it especially when its warm. my finger went straight through!

no, but get a permanent marker and go for it. plus you wont have to change it.


i think you can get them made. just take out your old one and make a copy of it in the fabric you want. but be prepared for a lot of hassle.
you'll end up with saggy bits etc if you dont pull it tight

might give that a go srs1 what could i use tho as i like the leather but thats a bit pricey ive seen it for ?15 a meter

foiltec interior spray!!

a mate did his with that!!!

left it in the car, masked up with paper and sheets put a mask on a lay back and sprayed it!!!

you cant tell that it has been sprayed!!
