wheel offsets

i know its been asked millions of times and i should know it by now lol. i know the offset is 49 but whats the size im looking for? would 16x7 fit on without a problem? or is 16x6.5 a better option?

16 x 6.5 would be better

My old wheels for 16x7, et 45, and they wouldn't fit on, they rubbed the outer lip.
With a bit of rolling/cutting the lip they would have fitted tho.

But yeah as Ste said, 6.5 width is better.
