Gettin a nova running?? Started lol

I might be buying a Nova thats been standing for 12 months nice car 1.2 j reg in breeze blue only wants about ?50 4 it and its got a gsi spoiler sri seats and 15 inch 5 spokes unsure of the make . . bargain i say. But it doesnt start, what shall i do 1st 2 get it :? running?? Also i noticed that the driveshaft has come out of the gearbox undernearth the engine??? any help much appreciated cheers chaps!!

anyway first thing i would so is to check for a spark and whilst your doing that check compression aswel. if both of them are ok check for fuel. if all that is ok have fun :wink:

if its been standing and ppl have been trying to get it run you might need a new ignition modual witch makes the spark to the coil. apart from that spark plugs petrol oil and give it all a good clean. and make shure the brakes arnt stuck on!
