Funny noise at higher revs

When i change gear at higher revs, just recently i've noticed a rattle, not a loud rattle, it is rather quiet but then my ears dont miss much...

Anyway, i was wondering whether it could be the box or clutch, coz it does it immediately after depressing the clutch to select another gear

i get a rattle a higher revs too. found out it is the dash, still looking for the bolt to tighten up :!:

not that kinda rattle, it comes from the engine, well it did coz its just gone bang so at least i know SOMETHING was wrong :evil:

Anyway seens to have 'sorted itself out' lol, just decided to start when i asked it to and now its fune. Aint got a clue what went wrong though...

Basically i pulled off my drive, put my foot down in first, but not ragging it, just gave it a bit of go, stuck it in second and BANG, then slowly ground to a hault. No idea really wat it was although the carb is outta tune so it could have been overfuelling and backfired i guess

Bloody loud though it scared me lol
Car seems fine now tho :?
