i have bought a set of smiths 5 spoke alloys...... i bought them cheap so they need a bit of work.

ive been told they will need rubbing down i little bit of filler here and there and then sprayed.

i didnt mind that they need rubbing down and sprayed as i was gona do that anyway but how hard is it to make a good job of them??

just wondered if anyone has done this before??

oh ps.......my nova is cadburys purple would this suit white wheels?

yes have done it before.

Get tyres removed for proper job.

If you can get the shot blasted and powder coated professionally for really good finish.

If doing youreself its just like respraying a panel - except you ned to use a few more coats of lacquer to protect rims from chips etc...

If theyre dented (chunks out) get them filled professionally. You cant use body filler because the motion of the wheel will losen it so dont even try. Might work on light surface scuffs etc...
