namkeaps has bought the 1.6, would of used it, but got offered the xe and brakes for ?200, and got given 22 spilne gte shafts for free, so couldn't refuse that lol

he works for auto paints

Saw the beast last night, paint job looks top notch. It has been painted in more of a blue colour and looks far nicer in the flesh. Now get it sorted mate, need a hand let us know :wink:

im thinkin about lower... andyracers selling his 80mm rear springs, so temped to buy them

will lowering the car, say 60 - 70mm spoil the handling coz iv read that if you go too far with the lowering your handling and ride quality??? is this true???

fitted the exhaust today well, sort of... just need to mod the front of it

she also fire's up now, with the help of Lee H, just need to either get a non lambda ecu, put a lambda in exhaust, or ground pin 20, so it idle's, cut out at the min, but its getting there

left to do, solder wiring
fit drive shafts, when i get the cv's
fit the 16v brakes
finish exhaust
finish fitting electric windows
put some door pins on the doors

Get a lambda boss welded in mate. You can get them from SBD or just use a nut lol... Should make for a bit more economy ;)
