What do people think of JBL's stuff, any good or what?

its not bad gear really. as far as budget stuff goes i would say jbl are near the top. a few other brands come from the same factory as them too. jbl dnt seem to be as good as i remember they used to be though which is why the prices are way lower than they were 8-9 years ago i guess

IMO the sony 12" subs (red ones) are better than the 12" JBL ones for the similar price...

i used to run two 10" jbl's in the boot of me nova with a good amp and it was fine, and bloody loud.

i have 4 jbl 1200watt 12' subs running off a 1000watt kicker amp, sounds fine to me! :lol:

jbl stuff is good gear , i would rate it above sony for value for money their high end stuff is spot on well up with jl audio and the such, but sony have excellent tft monitors and dvd players they are better in this department

everything in my car apart from the headunit is JBL

thats 2 12" subs
6*9's
a front componenet kit
and the amp

and they are great!! sound just as good as anything and wernt half the price of what say Kenwood or something would have costed!

the GT4 sub is a steal for the performance you get, so good ive had 6 different ones lol

actually made by crown amplifiers they are professional studio amplifier people used to make car amps years ago but gave up to concentrate on studio, concert and home amps

carn't fault jbl, i had the gto 2x200 amp in my old nova and it was a mint little amp for ?60, never distorted.
