The engine from my car is for sale
93 Calibra 16v engine, coilpack engine, pot flywheel etc..
The engine had done a genuine 41k when I brought it at the beginning of this year, I have covered 14k in it since, 3k ago I melted a piston as I was using nitrous on it, since being rebuilt I have had no nitrous near it.
The engine rebuild consisted off
Hone block,
new big end bearings,
new standard rod bolts
early xe 86mm forged pistons (rather than cast which it did have)
new Mahle 86mm rings
GM head, rebuilt with 8 new guides and 8 valves, first skim from factory
genuine GM gasket sets, upper and lower
8v sump gasket and baffle tray
new water pump,
cambelt
Injectors cleaned and new seals
The engine has been converted back to the early style alternator as for nova fitment,
engine comes with :
engine,
wiring loom,
all sensors
exhaust manifold with lambda
pot flywheel and GM clutch
Manztel Powercap ( modded for nitrous injector) although blanked off for now
Beru leads
alternator
starter motor
DOES NOT COME WITH GEARBOX
can be heard running for now as still in car, will be getting removed within next 2 weeks,
engine was run in on Vauxhall mineral oil, and since then has 2 changes using Shell Helix and GM filters
