depends on price m8,
if a functional one is not much dearer than a show one then al be quite happy to pay for a functional one, but just after a rough guide on both really atm

thanks for that
i dont know whether the cages i want go onto the shocker mounts, i was just guessing that was where they went to, i'v never looked close up tbh
i have a saftey devices rear cage in mine, and i added a weld in strut brace...
the rear cage goes in just like the rear section of the "full" cage... i belive they were just under ?200.
If your only doing it to save money over a full cage, then keep a look out on F/S and ebay as full ones often come up for ?200ish...

Like stu said, your eyes open on Eghey etc. But be quick, I managed to snap up a cage for ?230 from a fellow novaloader. Oh and yes its functinal and a full cage too.
Harry Hockly full cages are ?309 brand new. www.hh-ms-com www.hh-ms.co.uk I'm not sure which.

think that OMP one looks the best to get  8)
next on the list, piper 285 cam 8)
if your serious about a cage either get a PROPER one (not that omp one as it will offer fook all protection, Or simply dont bother.

I take it you had a sunroof in your car and a non sunroofed cage?
I'm not sure if it would be FIA approved anymore as you've modified the cage. Saying that, Not many people from here would be entering any comps/rallies etc which actually check the cage.
damn, every one fitting a cage and im the only sad git who's selling mine! bugger.
i may be tempted to end the auction an just fit it now!
