c16xe heat shield?

i am in the process of designing a manifold heat shield for my c16xe, yet where does it attach to the block?? There seems to be just one hole in the centre above the manifold?? I have seen a picture of the standard shield and it has 2 holes (1 at each side?? )Is there some sort af attachment plate which i am missing? how do i attach it?? thanks.

There's two hole at the top which attach it to the head, they may be on the cast manifold or on the head, I can't rember which, think they are M6 threads.
