Hi guys, just bought my self a brand new Weber 32/34 DTML carb i had 1 on my old nova but it was like that when i bought it.

Can any 1 tell me where to get a fitting kit for it ie. gasket spacer for round the top and any thing else i may need. This is my 1st time fitting 1, i take it i will need a manual choke kit to?

All Help appreciated. Thanks Guys!

P.s. A fitting guide and parts list would be good to.

-Use a 1.2carb choke cable.
-I think its the SR throttle cable that fits because of the shape needed at the end of the cable where it attaches to the car. Its either the SR or 1.2, i can't remember which one tho.
The 1.2 has a ball type fitting and the SR has a barrel type IIRC.
-You may also need a fuel pressure regulator.

You will probably also need the carb setup on a rolling road, to get the idle and mixture spot on.

Well the nova is a 1.2 shell with a 1.6 in it can i just fire it on and set it up in a week or 2 when i have the cash for the rollin rd :?

Yes mate.
You can have a play with the mixture and idle yourself until it will at least keep running.

You need a 1.2carb choke cable.

Hmm, im not sure whether or not it fits your 1.6 inlet manifold, what carb is on the manifold at the minute?

Ok mate.
If its a 16sv engine then it has a pierburg 2e3 as standard IIRC.

So you should just need an adaptor plate and the weber will then fit your inlet manifold.

I dont know where you get the adaptor plates from tho.

IIRC you also need a T-piece as weber carb has no fuel return pipe.

Its a metal plate mate. It holds the throttle cable.
This is one sitting on a 1300 inlet manifold

Dont think so no, as the carb is universal and works on quite a few engines.

If you had bought it as a direct replacement for a pieburg 2e3 then you should have got the fitting plate kit.
Did it say replacement for 2e3, or did it just say weber 32/34 carb.

In that case you will need to purchase your own kit to fit it by the sounds of it, shouldnt be too difficult however
