I've went a bit mad recently and bought 2 new cars!!!
Nova is back on standard alloys again but will be stripped and resprayed (sometime!), but the Ascona is pretty much perfect!
Last owner was 87, and seemed to be a perfectionist. He even had 2 sets of wheel nuts and rotated them every month so the other set could be painted!!!
Haven't got my own pictures of them yet, so these ones will have to do in the meantime!!!

awesome, i love asconas !

any plans for it ? or is it to be kept standard ?

there was an awesome dark blue/black one in TV a while ago - absolutly stunning

At the minute the plans are to keep both standard and make them mint!!! Nova is to be stripped to a shell, and new q panels/arches put in, and a new drivers door (as some one has kindly put a nice dent in it which can't be repaired!! ) and a full respray.
The Ascona is in fairly good condition at the minute, so I'll wait until I have the Nova finished before I get started on it properly!

Off the Nova?
I didn't buy them with the car, novamad off the site has them for sale though...................

one day il get off my @rse an get my SR resprayed an looking as mint as that! a good start would be get a new bonnet? as mine has more chips than blackpool seafront!

As I said before, the Nova won't see the light of day again, until it is stripped and rebuilt!!! Back arches need done and a new drivers door needed because someone tried to break into it!

Wow very mint gsi, it isnt the one he had up for like 4k or something daft like that?

Unfortuneately it's not the one with 12,000 miles, I would probably have bought it if I got to see it in time!!!
At the minute the plans are to have both standard and mint but that may change and a rally slag Ascona could be born..............
