ive got a sri and its got central locking and elecy windows
its a bastard tho, the cables get caught in the bit where the door hinges are and it wears them down so u get a shitty connection, had to take off the door panel and rewire it a few months ago cos my central locking stoped working,
the central locking is in the drivers door and it just sends a signal to the passenger side..
thats as much as i know
Mate i think you might be missing a bit of black flexy rubber tubing that should cover the wires and stop them getting caught.

IT WORE THROUGH LOL
:P
right here is what you need !
Find a Nova SRi, GTE, SR, GSi HATCHBACK
(i presume yours is a hatch ?)
Find one with central locking and electric windows as all the wiring for it is in 1 loom !
Central locking components
Drivers Door Solenoid - is located under the lock behind the doorcard, is pretty obvious
Passenger Door Solenoid - Is located on the same position but on the passener door
Central locking ECU box, should be mounted under the passenger side shelf in the footwell
All of these you can unplug the wires to them, and de-rivet them or unscrew them.
Electric Window Components
Driver side motor + Arm - Behind the doorcard, looks very similar to a manual mechanism but with the addition of a great big motor
Passengers side motor + Arm - same as above, but behind the passenger doorcard.
Switch box - In centre console, remove by undoing a screw (IIRC) and unplug the wires that go to the switches.
Other Components
Loom - This is just a collection of wires neatly wrapped up in insulation tape, and can be fitted into your nova. It should go from the Electric window motor and Solenoid in each door, though the door pillar, then on the passenger side it'l run to where the ECU box is, and then across to the centre console. On the Drivers side it'l do the same but instead of runnig the the ECU it'l plug into the Fuse box, and then under to the centre console. Plus there will be a brown wire leading to an earth somewhere on the floor plan.
I'm pretty sure it runs behind the dash and under the carpet, but you can just rip it up and follow it.
oh , and remember, try and unplug everything, and remove the loom that way !
keep all plugs on the end of wires, as you can simply plug the solenoids, winder motors , ecu, switch box and the fuse box (live, Switch Live) back in ! easy peasy !
you may have to cutt it at the doors to enable you to pull the wires through the door pillar, but that can be easily "connector blocked" or soldered back together, so if you have to do that prehaps cutt the loom inside the door skin then all the connections can be hidden behind the door cards.
but i',m sure you can do it without having to cutt the loom
Thanks Nick... thats top notch info!!
Vinny while im there ill look for a new rubber insulator to go round your wires...
A couple of pics i routed out from my photobucket account, they may help you slightly

here is a piccy of the Central locking ECU box (ignore the connector blocks - my loom was 3rd hand and had been chopped up) you can see how much more mess it makes when you cutt the loom

And here is a piccy of the wiring under the Centre console switch box (you wont have the thick yellow wire)
Hope they help, gives a bit of an idea of what your looking for, sorry didn't really have any "usefull" piccies
Mods i think this should be a stickie!! or a user guide!

this will be usefull , i just found it !
Crappy little diagram of where the loom goes in the floorplan ! hope it helps
Mods i think this should be a stickie!! or a user guide!
if they want a guide, i'l happily do a better one and take some pics of my motors, solenoids e.t.c
but to be honest, my CL doesn't work so maybe i'm not the best person to ask Lmfao !
(don't worry my ECU is fudged)
