Ahhh for the days of cheap MOTs, in the last two years of owning my novas we pretty much booked them in for welding even before we'd been for the MOT

MOT on The Bitch isn't due til next feb but I do need to get it serviced, which no doubt will cost about 4x ?80 lol

My MOT is up on the 4th.....but with a car that isnt running looks like it'll be going back abit.....Done all welding that i think needed to be done, just got to sort out the rear brakes and fix the engine!

Never had to put any of my cars through a mot luckly, theyve either rotted away or ive sold them before they needed one

good to hear scott, think it must be a nova thing ?

every year mine fails on the number plate light !

but apart from an odd-wiper blade e.t.c mines allways flown through - but i think next time is going to be a little less swift

Mines due in saturday for its MOT only thing is its looking like a skip at the mo. cos im half way through an I.C.E install so ive ripped the back seats out seatbelts plastics the lot. One ov my mates shocked me and said I NEED SEATBELTS FOR MOT its not true if theres no seat theres no reason to test the rear belts so im keeping my fingers crossed.

yup iirc if you completely remove the seats and belts then you're ok. Its another one of those pre-86 jobbies as well but i can't be arsed to look up the specific details lol
