What engine is it?
a 1.4?
1.6?

99% guaranteed it will be C.
As that stands for cat, and a m-reg car should have a cat.

well the only 1600 engines fitted to corsas are the 16v units

if its an 8v mpi unit its a 1400; C14SE, which is the engine fitted to sri corsas and also sri nova's

if its an M reg 16v then it could be either a C16XE or an X16XE depending on the year

1.6 m reg
They didn't do a 1.6 8v corsa.

They did 1.6 16v.

whats the difference?

Aragorn
26-09-05, 10:49 PM
the difference being the C16xe having an AFM and no EGR (and 107bhp), and the X16XE having no afm, EGR (and 104bhp)

Aragorn

afm == airflow meter

egr is some crap attached to the cylinder head that recirculates exhaust gas
