just ordered the t-shirt from top gear. free with a subscription or ?13.99 on it's own, so i subscribed for 6 months for ?18. so pretty soon i will be the stig :)

Talking about the Stig....anyone read in TotalVauxhall about when topgear Slated the VXR astra?? and the stig could only do a middlish time with it and that it handled shit....well TV added in that theres 5 stigs! :o

Wot engine is the VXR astra my m8 gave ma a shot of his new astra sri is it the 1.8 with the sport button it was well good nice also nice standard wheels 18"s or somethind and the brakes were something else when your use to driving a nova!

must have done a bit of tuning electrically, remember the Sport hatch/GSi is 30/40bhp less than the VXR.

but seeing it on the Track at trax.....i want one myself now....even more than i did before! :lol:

But wears a blue oval.....sorry dont like fords as a whole. only 2 fords i'd consider is the Cossie Escort and the Serria Cossie as well.

BUT... i'l agree the Focus in its old shape looks nice but not now. the new shape one hit every branch of the ugly tree! :lol:

Would rather have the golf gti something about the golf jsut appeals to me, but the VXR would be a very close 2nd choice and them focus's are just plain ugly so was the 1st one.

the phase 1 focus is wrong...

I hate the fact that some guy has got a triangle, and some semi circles. Then he's just cutt and pasted a design together on auto-cad.

Maybe that's fords idea, but it looks so artificial and computer made.

at least with alfa's e.t.c you can tell their design still comes from hand sketches
