Would anyone explain to me the differences in the power delivery curve of a 8v motor to 16v, cheers.

Thought he might lol!! I dont have any power graphs of the std engines!! Im sure the 8v will give a flater graph with more power low down revs!! And the 16v more up the high end of the revs, as most 16v's do!!

Not a massive difference, the 16v is slightly more responsive.

To be honest i wasnt sure that size had an affect too, i had come to the conclusion that 8v had more torque lower down the range but lost revs quickly, where as 16v had most of its power higher up and reved higher. I dont know why but this is what i had guessed. Am i any where being right?

I am actually more interested in the smaller engines, 1.2 1.3 1.4
