t40's on 1.2

hi basically wonderin if the 1.2 engine can take twin 40's and wat wud i need to put them on a 1.2 carb engine? there dellortos if that matters

hmm now who would be silly enough to fit 40's to a 1.2 lol ;)


right then.
you'd need a fitting kit + manifold (available from www.tuning.co.uk)
depending on if your keeping the 1.2 head you will need a 1.2/1.3 manifold (irmscher ones are useable), if you go for the 1.4sri head (good option but needs a skim) you will need the round port manifold.

you will need to get the carbs setup basicaly then get to a rolling road to ahve them setup properly

If its a 1.2carb engine then yes you can fit 40s.
Use a 1.3SR twin 40 inlet manifold.
You will then need the carbs setting up to suit a 1.2.

any idea on where to find a bigger better carb for a 1.2 don't want to go magger big just enought to give a bit more kick and sound better LOL

use a webber 32/34 with 1.3sr inlet manifold

yea get a 1.3sr inlet and carb will bolt straight on.
