Hi all,
I am thinking of selling up my MINT nova gte lookalike 1.0!
how much do you recommend I sell it for?
feel free to ask questions before answering ;)

Need more details! Mileage, owners, history, etc.... also hard to say without looking at it, or at least have pics.
Realistically you probably won't get that much

yeah thats why i said look at my signature.
its got the "My Featured Car" link.
Its only done a few thousand miles and its in mint condition with no rust at all. Its got MOT till April 2006. Runs well.
Ive got spare alloys with it

it just has no tax or insurance

i put my nova on ebay for 250 with 11 months mot an tax and 35k miles. No one was even interested one bit. They want everything for nothing, so im going to crash it into a tree just to rob them the satisfaction of getting a decent cheap nova.

yeah it had tax and mot, 1.2 snap, nice conditon, full Sr interior. check my profile mate. yours is a nice car, shud get about 4 for it

I bought my 1.2 J reg luxe for ?300, it had basically 1 owner 48k , 12months Tax and MOT, FSH with no spares (it's had a cam belt and fan belt) It's in perfectly good condition, it has very very little rust but EVERY nova has rust somwehere.
I'd say that was a good price on my behalf, so i'd say your not going to get much more than ?300 considering the differences. on an old car an MOT is everything
and before someone says "it's brown" i don't bloody care it's what's under the bonnet that i care more about.
But its BROWN

I think you'll be limited by the engine size tbh. Most people will just see it as a 1.0 and not want to give much for it. However, as they say "its worth what someone is willing to pay for it"
razorjam is correct on that little saying...
but realistically not much, same with everything really - mine isn't worth much either tbh

i got my mint 1l spin for ?500 last year it had 11 months mot & tax. one pensioner owner, no rust at all and 13,000 geunine miles backed by vaux full service history.

... I think thats what the mechanic said before I owned it.
Unless he meant he had only done less then 10k miles whilst he had it.
I will check up though.
Ive already had an offer of ?400 :) from my cousin Barry. But you all know him as NovaLoadedAgain!

Ive just checked one of the MOT certificates.
In 2002 it had only 119 miles on it.
I will check the mileage on my latest certificate when im round my Nan's next cause ive left it at my nans.

oh and by the way, the MOT is regardless, they just write down whatever is on the clocks....
So if someone wound the mileage to 0, and took it for the MOT they'd put 0 down.
if it was sub 10k mileage, it'd be immaculate under the bonnet.

get some pics of it , i imagine the interior is like new ! For a comparison look at keiths 1.2 that's done something like 12k and you can really tell by the pictures that it's 100% the truth
