I was woundering what master cylinder can be used to uprate the power of a novas brakes can a 1.3 sr one be used on a 1.2 luxe please help im sad and have no money and no knowledge of nothing :lol: :lol:

then what you on about uprating stuff for, just get some new stuff on it doesnt exactly cost much. One of the joys of owning a nova

all off the servos from 1.0 to 1.4sr are the same

the only difference being the gte/gsi/sri/td :lol:

afaik SR is same as your 1.2 one.... GTE/GSi (and poss SRi one) is uprated... could try a corsa one, believe they're the same as the GTE/GSi ones

corsa stuff isnt anywhere near fitting

all nova master cylinders are the same

gte/gsi/sri/td's had larger servo's, but that was it

anyways decided on astra gte master with 16v brakes all round should get it through mot

to be fair there must be something seriously wrong with your setup if its "not likely" to pass the MOT as is.....

pleanty of people manage to get their 256mm braked/std mastercylinder setup through MOT's so why cant you?

cos hes master cylinder is fooked so while hes changing it hes thinking ha may aswell upgrade it whilst hes there.
