after taking the front and rear bumpers off and took the headlights out, we found that Nessie my nova is really beyond repair

She will need approx ?800 spending on her to make her look even half decent, and the way my finances look at the min, i just cant justify doing it, plus we havent had her up on the ramp yet, so chances are she is rotten underneath as well.

it will be the first car i have scrapped and it took alot of thinking to make up my mind...lots of pros and cons, but she has to go.

The moral of the story is dont 'win' a car on ebay without driving the 3 hours (each way) to go and see it, only to find out it was a 2 min walk from the beach, and the salt air has eaten away at the car basically!

There is light at the end of the tunnel though, Nessie2 is being collected tonight :D

Is this the one that you posted pics up of last week that's a completely rotten, full of rust shed? Was it really any surprise that it's only any good as scrap??

unfortunatly, i dont have the time or the money to throw at her, i needed something that i could just get in and go when my astra comes off the road in two weeks time, and Nessie just isnt it LOL!
