Suspension question

hey folks this is my first post and glad to be part of nova community on here :D. Just bought my first car which is a nova 1.2 carb. friend of mine says he can get hold of lowering springs and shocks kit cheap. just wanted to know if suspension (not original) from a nova GSI or GTE not sure which would fit my car? thanks for any help 8)
