which is the best radiator to use

hi folks can anybody help me i am currently in the process of fitting a 2.0 16v in my nova and want to know which is the best radiator to use?i've been told before that either the 1.4 or 1.6 is the best as these are the biggest, but on a recent visit to the scrapyard i saw a diesel and that seemed to be bigger than the one i have? please help cheers

Not sure on the size of the diesels or the 1.4 one's, but one from a gte/gsi i think is the biggest you'll get. Tbh though, a lot of peeps use a 1.2 or 1.3 radiator and have never had any probs with them-they do the job fine.

Thats bolloxs, you want to fit a gsi/gte radiator, i have on mine and i have never had any overheating problems. i.ve heard of no end of problems with anything smaller.

the diesel rads have the outlets on the opposite side to the petrol models :!:

1.2 and 1.3 will do i think. 1.4sri and 1.6 is slightly wider but don't go out and get a 1.6 one till you've seen if the 1.2 one will do for you.

get a brand new valeo gsi one

it will run on smaller ones... but why risk it

the d/td ones won't fit
