Camshafts dont tend to snap.

What head are you using?

Hmm, very strange.
Its bad enough for one to go, but 4 :o

Were they snapping before you had the ported head fitted?

ported and polished shouldn't make one slightest bit of difference.

is the head warped at all ?

sounds like the top of the head isnt flat or the rocker box isnt flat and when bolting it up its putting pressure on the cam

or that there is a blocked oil feed causing the shaft to not get oil and then snap.......

take the head off and get its parralellism from the headgasket face to the rockerbox face checked, if this is warped then it will cause the rockerbox to bend stressing the cam,

my mate had this problem on his gte, just changed the whole rockerbox and cam for another one and it was fine.

or you could make your next cam an upprated one (brand new) and if it brakes, send it back
