Digi dash speedo

Have wired up my digi dash and it works mint apart from the speedo reads tripple speed! the car is a mk1 GTE with a mk2 interior and 2.0XE engine+loom if this helps???

Have you tryed the red switch on the top of the dash also did the speedo and sensor come from the same car :?
