View Full Version : collected my sprint c kit, and new wheels
Had a road trip to derby today to collect my new sprint c kit for the nova. While i was up there i couldnt resist buying some new wheels.
I managed to get 6 irmscher wheels, all brand new for ?200. They have an offset of Et30, which means i dont have to widen the tracking on the car.
The car will be off to the body shop soon for the work to commence.
The c20let is being rebuilt at the moment, and hope to have that back in the next couple of weeks.

I made some enquiries about the kit a while ago - was tempted to buy it but a change of plan made me think again
Looks like you bought it from the guy in this thread

Careful with wheel clearences! My 15s didnt even clear 16v brakes let alone v6 brakes etc needed for a LET

good point, i think i might have to buy some highspec smaller breaks. AS i have 288mm discs at the mo.

Guess it depends if the person is going for a euro look or wide arches.
The offset is fine, they are the wheels designed for the kit. They are listed for the corsa sprint c in the irnscher catologe.
what nova they going on craig? the silver one?
love the wide arches and love them rims!!!

Thats a nice kit, should look pretty hot.
yeah they are going on the silver one, a bit of a change i know, but ive had the car for three years now and justa fancy a change
look,
what size are the rims?
i thought they where 14's,saw them at billing and really liked them,
should look great.
There 15 inch rims, im hoping i can get the 256mm brakes behind it. Although im planning on running about 260-280 bhp, and im not sure the brakes will be big enough

just change a few things (in an insignificant way so youve not "copied" it ;)
making copies of it doesnt interest me. After paying ?800 for a kit which is twenty years old, i wouldnt want to make it more common.
The fact there is only one other car in the uk that i know off with the kit, makes it worth the money.
With a bit of luck it may venture into total vauxhall.

Would you ever wish to bestow such a terrible thought on your car.

I just think it would be nice to get a feature, wouldnt really bother me what mag it went in.
