Weight of a Nova bonnet

As per topic just wondering what the weight of a bogo bonnet is.

dont know really?

wieght loss is not really my strong point, i mean, my weight loss consists of x2 bucket seats, no rear seats, and carbon fibre panels in the rear. ive not looked into panels etc.

i know that nova seats weight around 4 stone for a pair of front ones! and bout 2.5 for the erars, but sparco's weight about 1.5stone per pair!?

going on the fact i have my bonnet off on a regular occasion. id say its approx 10-15K when compared to my boot lid which weighs 7Kg fully finished.....

It weighs 11.5-12kilos for a bonnet, I know case I weighed it to see how much saving my GRP bonnet was (whihc is 4kilos) :lol:

LOL no i weighed my bonnet and toild you lol. But i still could not remember how much it was lol. Just remeber that the GRP one was much lighter!!

how much are the carbon bonnets?I was thinking of chopping all the strengtheners out of mine and just laying it on the engine like a big floppy pancake :lol:

lol, yeah, know what you mean. Mate of mine did it to his R5 turbo racer and it was floppy as fook. Was ok with 4 bonnet pins in though when it was on.

Probly not a good idea though :lol:
