if you monitor your oil temp and do things like track days or have a turbo etc and notice that the tmpe is constantly high then a cooler will benefit you.... Otherwise it can actually damage the engien by keeping the oil cool and not so good.

At Trax after my 15 minute track session the oil temp on my Stack was reading 111 degrees and thats with an oil cooler!!

Without one and doing track days or even fast road driving your oil is gonna boil!!!

I would advise fit one anyway wont do any harm. If Vaux fitted them as standard to Calibra, Astra etc they were there for a reason.

You should be ok anyway.
Its always cold and wet in Glasgow.
You might need an oil warmer up there!!!!!!!!

probably, but tbh most are likely to be about 10 years old now so a new one would be on the cards anyway!

Really only very usefull for track day cars, big tuned engines or turbos. Or the rear diff apparently if you have one.
