Throttle Bodies...

Nothing exciting guys.....

just wondering, had spoken with Mr Scott Parker about fitting either a 1.8 or 2ltr 8v Cav throttle body to my GSi inlet manifold, he siad not to both with those and to try a 2ltr Golf TB. now if ones already fitted then it must fit fairly easy BUT would i expect to see any gains?

this is what the car will be running and also a few other parts i know will fit that i have sat around! :wink:

K&N Panel filter, Race/Rally cam (unknown make), Twin Valve springs, 4 Branch manifold and Ashley back box.

Extras...a set of 2ltr 16v injectors.....

unless youve got mappable management the injectors will just bore wash the engine.

as for the larger TB, again the only benefits would come with aftermarket management, although with the AMM still in you might see a mild gain/smoother drive in some cases
