i was cruising down the m1 at a steady 85....and then i saw a load of blue lights coming froma unmarked cop car.......what car do u think it is..... a merc SLK!!!!! well i was very chatty about it with him and got away with it but still i cant believe police can be driving such cars........

they've got lots of different high performance/luxury cars these days....

Undercover police cars round by me are usually normal everyday cars like vectras but they're fast as fook! My mate had one catch him up within seconds doing over a ton on the way back from trax. Come right up behind us, flashing blue lights from behind the grill then he overtook us, pulled in front and some screen thingy flipped up from the parcel shelf going, police....slow.

anyways... they have feck all around here, a few new astra's, i've seen a lowered vectra GSi on some bigger vaux alloys once, it pulled a porsche that sped off in front of me.

no SLK's, imprezas or anything

best i heard of was Essex (I think) police at one time had an RS200. Thats as in Grp B rally car effort RS 200

must of been some serious crooks to catch with that swine :?

The fuzz used to have a red modified Scooby P1 for covering the A303 round here, not seen it for a while though.

Heh, yeah why bother modifying and insuring your own car when you can join the police at 18, and after a few years specialise as a traffic cop and get one for free :lol:

Should watch out up your way, I've seen a lot of the Merc patrol cars about with laser equipment in them just sitting on the M5 around Brizzle at 70 in the middle lane :roll:

Cushy job, sitting in a nice comfy Merc all day :lol:

Funny really-their's always someone thats been pulled over on the m32 (heading towards filton) and still i insist on caning it down there lol. Although i've never been pulled over in the omega-only ever in the nova(s) :wink:

I wouldn't mind driving a merc/scooby/evo/bmw around all day-wouldn't be a bad job :!:

if anyone is from the Essex area, the police did a legal Southend Show come cruise. they had an Audi TT and Honda NSX moked up as cop cars..

i know the Norfolk have a Lotus Elise in the fleet along with an Evo 7!

round here ive seen a black unmarked evo, they have an impreza and a bmw5 series that has a dog on the back seat :lol:
normal unmarked fuzz cars are focus saloons and protons lmao
