:roll: Has any 1 dun this b4 i have the parts i need but i cant get the lenses of the hedlamps without breaking them can any 1 help Thanks Guys

I tried separating them before, they're sealed on with some pretty strong sealant... even baking in the oven for a while didn't loosen it :lol:

I'm not sure they'd look so good on std nova lamps anyway. You'd get some reflection back onto the reflector, and the lenses are graded for light cover... Although some people have done it

Ive tryed everything i can think of i bought a 2nd set of lamps to try it on and just keep chiping the glass!

What about fixing the rings to the front of the lense in some way? To the outside of the glass?

Dunno if i fancy that i have a bad boy bonnet thay would get knocked off every tine i shut the bonnet + thats gor 2 be a mot fail :?:

try auto glym tar n glue remover n razor blade n heat gun how much do parts cost were u get em

I actually got the top side of a mk2 head light loose and while trying to wedge the glass away from the rest, broke the lense in two. Bollox!! Its tricky, very bloody tricky.

why dont you do a headlight conversion from a similiar looking headlight that uses the angel lights....?

how much do parts cost were u get em

basicly i have bought a 2nd set of nova lamps and the leds i need fram ebay for about 20 - 25 quid i seen a set for the mk2 on ebay sell for over 80quid. i just cany get the lenses of without fxxkin them and i think thay would look so good :cry:

why dont you do a headlight conversion from a similiar looking headlight that uses the angel lights....?

Naw am happy with the grill and the look i have now m8 if i cant make the nova lamps work am no doing it coz the cars in getting sprayed the now and i dont wana have to change things 1nce it come out u no !

agreed. There are several distinguishing features that make a nova a nova... remove them and it may aswell be a saxo :? ..... apart from its made of metal rather than cheap french plastic
