no head lights

On the gsi im fixing up there are no headlights. the sidelights seem to work fine but when i turn for the headlights there is nothing. also when the lights arent on and i pull the indicator stick towards me the high beam lights work fine but when i do it when the headlight switch is on there is no high beam?
i think its maybe wiring. anyone else had similar problems
oh and the heater doesnt work, wiring again maybe??
the loom has been chopped i believe

Replace the headlamp switch its the cheapest option!

Could be the headlight relay. Checked the fuses too?

nova doesnt have a headlight relay, will most likely be the switch

Same thing happened to my seat ibiza and it was the switch!
