1.2 in two 1lt engine bay

helllo every 1 who reads this!!!
in a mrk 1 nova 1ltr..
are the engine mounts the same for a 1.2 2 be droped in!!!????
or are they diffrent can any 1 help????

Straight swop pal,

To do engine conversion all you need to do is use the 1.2/1.3 Coil rewire this into to the 1.0l loom Two wires Green and black IIRC. Run the oil pressure wire to the back of the car and get a pos for the auto choke.

All mounts etc are exact, you will need a new rad as well IIRC i changed mine anyways. Oh and you may have a wire left over from the starter on the 1.0l loom just tape this up as it inst needed.

thats all off the top of my head from when i did the 1297 conversion into my 1.0l

dont forget exhaust and fuel tank as well i think.

yeah, as the 1.0l hasnt got a fuel return so you would need a 1.2 tank and lines and as phil mentioned its a totally diff exhaust system so 1.2 exhaust as well
