Right, just cut them off the Astra Axle, what way do they mount to the Nova Beam without having to chop and grind away to allow all the bolts to fit?

How many of you have rear disk convertions anyway, it'll only take a minute to look for me.

Its a link to here. The holes need to be re drilled, i know, but the bolts wont fit with the way the Nova beam is.

m8 are you on about the holes on the new plate you have welded on to the nova beam?
im sure on myne i positioned the one or two holes that dont line up over blank metal and fully re drilled them!
i can check, get a pic 2moro if you havnt sorted it! :D

m8 have you ground off the two plates on the nova beam? as said i used 2 new plates which gave me the correct wheel spacing. grinding the plates off is an arse!

Hold the stub axles up to the beam, and see which way it sits. Make sure the bits on the stub-axles which the handbrake cable attaches to are pointing down slightly, and this will give you the correct poition.
Use the Cap head bolts aswell, and its a tight squeeze in there...but can easily be done!

align the center hole with the center hole on the beam to ensure you get the plate in the correct centralised position too

Great Stuff guys, i'll get a few pics up later to see. Will i need to use all 4bolts? And does anyone know off hand what size bolts i'll need?

the 4 bolts to hold the hub set up on are 15mm, they are dam close to the edge of the beam
myne is even more hassle as i have to run the abs set up disks which mean i need to reposition the shock mount  hence why my beam has been left behing the garage for months

Cheers, think i've got it sorted now anyway. It goes on like this:

The only problem i see is that the brake lines'll have to go up and over the Hub as opposed to under it, but i was just swap the calipars over instaed. Happy!!!
