either i'll have got away with it or i'll have been doing 47 in a 40, too busy making sure the t**t next to me wasn't about to hit me to watch the speedo.

always the way some times if they catch a certain amount at an excessive speed then people just over will get off

yeah and if you do get it through post ask for a certifcate to prove the camera was calibrated that day as if they havent you can get away scott free

just read on safespeed.org.uk that you can ask for the video as well as this constitutes the evidence against you. apparently lots of cases have been dropped when it was asked for.

best idea yet, dont even need to nick the plate just get the number then make some up and go through every speed camera in the area at 120+ lol

Mmm, but for that you have to take it to court afaik (at least thats what I was told by the copper when I first got caught by a mobile unit) - and if you lose expect a heftier fine, court fees etc

I thought it was 1500m or something?

They've got a pretty good range.

i know that the tchnology they use can be up to 1500m, but that voids the idea of it being a detterent under home office regs. i think that you have to be able to see it clearly for 60m and it can't operate outside of that range

that's where i got that from.
