just about to finish of building the 1.6 and stick it in.

Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on the effect it's going to have on handling ? obviously the engine is going to weigh a bit more.

for the time being it's being done on a low budget, so do i really need to fit ARB's or will they make no difference compared to the handling it has now as a 1.2 ?

it's -60mm on gmax full struts and spring - eventually on coilovers

Dont fit a front ARB but fitting a GTE rear one may help a bit.

I dont think the handling will change much, as the engine isn't really that much heavier, its just a bit bigger in size.
A gte is about 100Kg heavier than a standard 1.2 nova.
But that includes gte extras like central locking and electric windows.
