i'm after a mappable ecu. and at the mo i am interested in the megasquirt stuff, simply because of the price. but i also want to know what else is avaliable for what price and what sort of features they have?

i'm going through the websites one by one, dta, oxex, mbe, emerald. any others?

it's for a x16xe running throttle bodies

anyone have any experiance of the different stuff on the market?

cheers

ben.

omex is very "toy"ish unless theyve changed their software of late.....

DTA is ace, but a little pricey (about ?500 for ecu + loom and setup but my looms are good value compared to DTA lol)

if i could get the MBE connector it would probably be about ?130-150ish inc labour....

similar for DTA too..

the parts do add up to be about ?100ish depending on suppliers. and it takes a fair while to make a loom properly so for the time involved i charge f**k all lol.
