Hi,
Are standard GSi seats meant to have a plastic bit or something on the "hook" bit that fits into the chassis?
My seats seem to have a lot of play - you can push up - and they move a good 1 - 2cm up in the air.
Am i missing something off the seats?
They rattle like hell and its doing my head in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers,
wardyworld.
It sounds like they haven't slotted into the rails at the back.
Theres like a metal hook that goes into the rails.
I presume that holds the back of the seat, and the bolts hold the front.
Check its mounted correctly on the rails.

OK - thanks mate- will give it a try - im SURE though that it all went in OK.
Still worried about the fact that the plastic bits that go over the chassis seat mounting points are missing - do you think this is causing some of the vibration?

I believe this is the reason, because my passenger seat (haven't got round to fitting a passenger bucket yet) does the same.
When breaking hard, the entire seat leans forward, which worries the person sitting in it

Ah - that explains it then!
Will try and get the runners off a scrappy nova then.
Any idea if the seats are supposed to have a little plastic bit on the bottom, near where they hook into the chassis?
cheers mate,
wardyworld.
