iv been offerd a set of 16" alloys with good tyres for a resonably amount there et 49 my old ones are et 35 and they stick out by miles - what i want to know is (coz i cant remember) - is et 49 right for nova fitment? there 6.5 j aswell - thing is i quite like the handeling on the et 35 wheels iv got now. is there going to be a significant difference in handeling? will it be better or worse? - im on 60 mm springs and gas shockers. advice guys

ET49 is right for a Nova and it will handle loads better with the right offset, bet it handles like a turd now in comparison.

You might find that et49, 6.5J 16s will rub on the shock absorbers/inner arch.
a 3mm spacer may sort it.
But yes, your car will handle lots better on et49 than et35.
I've heard people notice a different in handling going from et 45 to et49!
