View Full Version : N.I. 1, England 0? WTF
Seriously, WTF??? Northern Ireland were getting 14-1 odds of winning and are, IMO, Shit??? Whats wrong with Sven?
Not to be funny, but see my LOCATION. Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are two completely different Countrys. And anyway, we were unlucky as well!!
that's what happens when 11 individuals play rather than 1 team of 11 men
sven has totally lost the plot building the team round 1 midfield player

We have never shown the raw aggression since that bald swede took over , the sheerness that makes the Premier so brilliant to watch . In other words , nobodys scared of us anymore , we are NO LONGER the side to be reckoned with....I believe if we had a manager who installed belief , alongside a more aggressive support towards his side - that we ARE possibly the best side in the world - go get em , youd see a totally different result on the pitch. I,ve never understood why we dont play internationals at Premier pace , if the boys were given the set teams formation that they have been used to instead of swapping them around ( leaving certain players out in the cold ) and we RAN AT EM , we,d scare the living daylights out of most oposition as there are some awesome players in our national team.....for me the mr iceman , cool attitude towards our team and tactics just dont cut it , and people seem to forget , Sven is on ?100k A WEEK TO COMMAND OUR SIDE its not as if he has to manage a weekly turn out is it -where are the results?? I,d install an English manager to start - lets get some pride back at least.......and maybe some passion.
SACK HIM.
SACK HIM.
do you get teh sack everytime you mess somthing up at work?
It's simple really, the better team won.
I've questioned the commitment of the national squad ever since footballers started getting paid ridiculous amounts of money each week to play for their club. How many players are thinking "If I go into a tackle during an england match and get seriously hurt, thats my career over" There just doesn't seem to be any national pride left in the squad. It almost seems like it's a chore to the players (and their club managers) to play for their country. When was the last time you heard one of the England players say "It's an honour to play for my country"

Dont be so silly - Im not paid 100k a week , but if I were lucky enough to be so and repeatedly did not perform properly I,d expect others to critisie my position and my downfalls.....
Nor do I command our national side , but dont you think its funny I,M NOTalone in this current wave of thought ?? How many others have called for the swedes resignation , let alone marching orders.......
ive thought that for the last 3 years now. and ive never liked him from teh start but thought 'lets give him a chance', since the 5-1 win and 1-0 against argentina we have been utterly shite, i havnt watched one england match and gone what a great game, its time for a change and i hope the fa see that. id like to see an english manager in charge sam alardice would be my choice

Bolloa, NI have a shit side, noones heard of half the players on the team. You've got Premiership Players and NI had local boys that kicck a ball round a street. As said, England dont show any kind of agression. Sven has a lot to answer for i reckon.
i hate football. not into it at all.
but when i watch england, as said there is no agression, no one goes for it, its almost like there holding back all the time! :?

It wasn't a case of England being desperatly unlucky and then Ireland poaching a later winner, Ireland outplayed England. So what that Englands team is made up of millions of pounds worth of players. As has been said, if they can't play well together as a team, they are never going to win anything.
To win a game you either have to be the better team or lucky, Ireland were not lucky in my eyes and deserved the win.
