Computer Help!

got a weird one here.....

right, i have my comp set up so it play's all sound thought my stereo
its also has a internal speaker which plays them aswell, but i have it muted


here's the problem, just recently media player wont play music, sound's or anything throught my stereo, but will do on the internal speaker, but now n then if i reboot my comp it will,

yet all other sounds off other programs, real player, windows itself, msn etc, will play though my stereo,

this has had me baffled now a clue as to why it does it, anyone able to shed any light on this

try updating ur drivers for the sound card or try gettin a new sound card or get a a set of speakers with a sub

well it was working fine a week or so ago, and it stop working, when i done nothing to it, not really gonna make a diff if i buy new speakers ect for it

then i suggest trying to get ur drivers updated or a new card

all other sounds work, its only media player that dont wanna play sounds :?

have u updated to media player 10?

sound like you need to configure your sound apps and get it to understand the outlets that your using for your stereo

got media player 10,

ste : all other sound program's work through my stereo, and so did media player untill about a week ago, not changed any setting, im the only one who touches the comp etc etc etc
