can this bee done? near sure i heard of it before but just lookin to know if it can and how ya go about it

yes but its much easier with a big block gearbox as the only 5stud hubs available are for big block shafts

Yeah you've gotta be using Big CV's.
This how i done mine,

Front, used Grp A Nova bearings, had the steerering knuckles machined out to accept the bigger bearing then had the 5 stud hub part machined slightly so the disc / caliper all lined up ok.

Rear, used Vectra V6 parts (stub axles, hubs, discs, calipers ect) same principle as a std rear disc conversion really, just had to fabricate some brackets to mount the stub axles & alter a few other bits, bit of a pain but do-able.

interestingly i saw a 5stud small block (1.6 16v) vectra today

perhaps i'd be an idea to take a small block CV into vauxhall and see if it fits a 1600 16v vectra 5stud hub...
