View Full Version : Another wheel offset question...
I have OZ saturns waiting to go on the car but they have an offset of ET36, which quite obviously isn't ET49. How do i fix this, 13mm of spacers or get them machined to remove 13mm?
cheers
You wont be able remove 13mm of the wheel, as it will be unsafe.
Spacers LOWER the offset.
SO 13mm spacers on ET36 wheel gives et23.

if u look at where the bolt holes have been machined into the rim you'll see the tapered section then possibly 5mm of streight 12mm hole then the hub face
if u were to take 13mm off that you'd prolly find u could drop the wheel bolts streight thru it
i'd say that even taking HALF of that 5mm streight milled section out would seriously weaken the structure of the wheel and wouldnt advise it at all
Ok. Thanks for the replies. I guess just running with them as they are is ill advised too!
What size wheels are they ? width ? is the car lowered ?
There far from ideal, but you might get away with it ?!
I had some 15 x 7 TSW's on with an offset of 40 on my 1st Nova, they cought all the time & it handled pretty shitty as well.
