?127 for full three inch system do that sound right
yes, they are only mild steel, and are usually quiet cheap
stainless steel systems cost alot more usually around 260-300ish
i've got a sportex back box on my car, there not that bad tbh
They are good for the money, but they fit s**t.
To fit mine i had to cut a half moon shape out my back bumper for the tail pipe to sit in.
And my middle silencer now taps on the transmission tunnel if i hit a big bump, as its pulled the exhaust system across slightly.
And yeah they are mild steel, so rot through in a couple of years.
But they are v.good for the price, ?127 for a full system, it would cost you more than that for a SS backbox.
got my full stainless steel magnex system Brand new for ?80 8)

I had full system on my GTE it lasted 4 months n it was rotten n rattled like a beeeeaaatch. I had all my mates under my car to stop it tried loads of different rubbers but it was jus awful.
Id pay the extra n get a stainless if i was u they fit better sound better n usually add more power if only abit

ashley exhausts are waaaaaaaay raspy almost jan speed sounding but from my experiance v good!
what about an ashley system
Ashley are good, full system for a GTE=?130.
They are pretty loud.
Again they are Mild steel so they will rust.
But they are great for the money, i would probably rate them higher than sportex.

I have had a few systems on my old sr but the best was the stainless steel scorpion system i never had any music on just listened to the exhaust it was a great sound then 1 of my pistion rings went ant it sounded like a impreza/rally car lol
how about a longlife exhaust? They will custom make it for you and fit it to your car.
They are top quality stainless steel, and definately won't rust :D
Although, I think their price starts at ?300 + backbox(s) of your choice, give them a call.
LongLife do rust ;)
Depending on what grade of steel they use.
I had a LongLife stainless steel backbox, and it was rusty.
You need to find a recommended longlife centre, that uses good grade stainless steel.
longlife use top end quality steel, and come with a guarantee that it will outlive your car.

Yeah true, they have a life guarantee.
And as long as you go to a recommended by a mate centre, it should be fine :)
do you recommend a centre Long Live? :P
I'm planning on getting one of their systems fitted to my new SRi :D
