i was driving down the road yesterday and my fuel gage temp gage reverse light cig lighter glove box light stiop working i checked the fuse it had blown so i replaced the fused turned the ignition on and the fuse blown straight away any suggestions

Sounds like its shorting out somewhere, causing a short circuit and blowing the fuse.

Also check the earth connections, a dodgy earth can do a lot of weird things.

nice one will check that out tonight what do you could be causing the short circuit

Hia mate, if you unscrew the fuse box and drop it down under the dash and use a mulitmetre and put the red lead onto the fuse connetor and the black onto the body. turn the mulitmetre to contenunity and test the connection you cant get your multimetre to read anything you have a crap earth lol, then you will find and earth point just behind the fuse box.
Do this with the ignition on

have you fitted your own stereo as that is on the same fuse aswell

sorted problem was live from amp causing shit loads of problems
