disc drive and cd rw

hi my disc drive and cd rw hasent worked for a while now when i go 2 add new hardware this comes up (Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)




any one no how i can fix this cheers
the cd rw is brand new

anymore problems u have pm me and ill help you out.

2 possibiltys

1) Even though the cdrw is brand new could still be faulty (send it back)
2) drivers are corrupt


Best bet is to uninstall it... Restart ur pc and reinstall the drivers for ur cdrw.

Maybe even go into ur BIOS and make sure its selected as a cdrw and primary drive.


Anyway ill be back in a bit... off to work early too day lol be on at work soon though :P
