I knew it was going to come sooner or later, but today I paid 101.9p/litre of Optimax. That was from a regular Shell garage in the town, not a motorway service station where it's no doubt even more expensive. What has the world come to when you can't even get a litre of petrol for ?1.

i paid 105.9 earlier and hadto do it as there wasnt another station for miles and i was running on fumes! i was told its going up again this week too! it will not stop either!

good ole KYOTO fooking it up for everyone....

the yanks refinarys cant keep uup with the demand for fuel over there, so theya re buying refined petrol form the UK and shipping it out there... so we are left with out refinaries working their nads off and letting the UK public hav ethe fuel 2nd in line.... which means we pay more etc.

but granted the key issude is the tax which in all fairness we cant do anythinga bout for atleast 3 more years..... And even then the northeners will cock it up and vote labour again :(

Im glad its still about 92.9p around herem but i have been told its shooting up to around the ?1 mark this friday :(

Its getting pretty bad here too. However i just nip 4 miles over the border to Republic of ireland, and buy my fuel in Euro. Its 1.11Euro a litre there now. But i can buy 42 euro for ?30. So its costing ?30 to fill the Novas

Went to Trax yesterday and topped up on way at Watford Gap services,
Cost me ?1.05ltr for super!!!
Just worked out i was doing about 15m/gal so the 200 mile round trip and a bit of track action cost me ?60 in petrol!!!

LPG Boys, its the way forward. I pay 34.9p a litre for my Gassed Calibra.... And that price has been the same for the last year with no increase in Tax :D
