1.3sr engine

hey im bout to get a 1.3sr which has a fully rebuilt engine, with all new parts. think the head has been gas flowed, not sure if ported and polished! and has a straight thru custom exhaust system.

now im lookin to get more out of it, i know theres the twin 40's but wat else can i do to get that performance up, jus lookin to make it quicker acceleration, not top speed! thanks, Luke

Get an uprated cam, lighten the flywheel, 4 branch manifold, decent full exhaust system and of course twin 40's

also to make the most of the acceleration get an F13cr gearcluster with a 4.18FD (or more 4.29 or 4.53 if you can find them). This will improve your acceleration at the expense of top speed....

ok thanks, if i knew exactly wat u were talkin bout then id agree, i know thr F13cr is a gearbox, but dont know wat the other bit is, plz help
