Alright,
just looking for some advice regarding uprating my brakes. looking for stuff that wiil bolt straight on to a std 1L. what am i best to do? can't really be fused with going to 4 disk, and astras are slim round here

find a 2.0 cavalier in scrap yard and remove the front calipers

then goto motorfactors and buy new disks and pads for 2.0 cavalier

bolt them on

be sure to get the caliper and the carrier that bolts to the hub!

also make sure they are ATE calipers and not Delco ones

older (pre-G-Reg) cavs have the shit delco calipers on them

the ATE ones can be identified by a DShaped cutout in the front of the caliper body that lets you see the back of the outboard pad

what a bout changing the suver to a gte/gsi one that helps on the stock brakes so i have been told

You need 5.5J 14s at least.

just buy some upgraded drilled and grooved disks n some greenstuff pads for a 1.4sr theyll fit cuz there solid disks not vented

dont even waste your time on the standard brakes

goto scrappy and get some 14" steels off a 2.0 cavalier and fit them along with the brakes
