well, they look good, and they aint exactly slow are they, so yeah, i would say get one.
BUT you must have a nova aswell, i could spare one for you if you want, really cheap.
I have three you see.

Not too worried about speed, i was thinking of a 1.6gsi nova but no one will insure me on it, but with the impreza they will for some strange reason, i might just go under my dads name again

It sounds like a good idea to me.....so can soon make it look like a turbo anyway, should you want to (you know you do ;)), but have affordable insurance (probable steep if you did fit the turbo kit though!)

May sound like a stupid question, but I take it the engine can be upgraded? What I am getting at is if you buy the 1800 model, could you in time add a 2.0 turbo engine? Dan if you are interested in buying a Scooby check out www.scoobynet.co.uk there are some guides on there on what to expect to pay and common problems etc.

I got an insurance quote a while back for a 2.0 Impreza Turbo, fully comp was ?2000 with the excess being about ?150. TPFT for me on a Nova GSi would be about ?3500 with the excess set at about ?400. I really can't understand the way insurance companies work.

Thanks for the link. Im now thinking of getting the 1800 4wd as i can get insured on it for around 2k, dont worry im not abandoning novas. Im builing a fast road 1600 next year as a college project. I need the impreza to drive around day to day, and ive always wanted one. I never thought i could afford it though.
